Écocentres enable you to dispose of materials that are not picked up during the City’s regular garbage collections in an environmentally friendly manner, free of charge.

Access Écocentres in Two Simple Steps!

1. Before You Leave

  • Sort your waste materials by category and make sure that their volume is less than 2.5 m³.
  • Bring proof of residence
2. Where to Go

The location where you dispose of your waste is based on the type of material and the vehicle used to transport it.

In order to stop the spread of emerald ash borer, tree branches and trunks of all species and sizes must not be disposed of in garbage bins. Instead, they should be brought to the Marie-Victorin or Grande Allée (Matrec) écocentres. The volume of waste per visit must not exceed 2.5 m³.
