Animals

The Animals section provides  information about domestic and wild animals. The Amendment to the Animal Control By-Law (REG-219-05) is found under the heading of Domestic Animals.

Dead or Injured Animal

To inform us of the presence of a wounded animal or the carcass of a dead animal (dog, cat, skunk, marmot, birds, duck, turtle, etc.) contact Services Brossard at 450 923-6311 or services@brossard.ca.

In Brossard, citizen safety is our priority

Any animal that commits an act likely to threaten the safety of a person or an animal or that acts in a manner indicating that it may suffer from rabies, may be seized and confined at the pound. An expert will examine the animal and make recommendations that can go as far as euthanasia.
